This month Intel has started shipping their new Celeron laptop processor that is based on the Sandy Bridge architecture. Usually restricted to mid- to high-end notebooks, this new Sandy chip is a cheaper and less powerful version of the i3, i5, and i7 processors we have now.
The B810 is being sold to OEMs with a 1000-unit price of $86 per CPU. The dual-core 1.6GHZ processor has 2MB of L3 cache and a maximum TDP (Thermal Design Power) of only 35W.

new laptop chip, hurray! i just can't see myself ever buying another desktop. this is definitely the chip to get in new notebooks, exciting stuff <3 intel!
